The showrunner/director, whose work includes 'Spartacus' and 'Daredevil', reveals his secret origin, talks genre storytelling, and breaks down the perils of Hollywood's IP addiction
Great interview! I truly love DeKight’s works as I follow him since Spartacus (but was fond of his writing in the whedonverse as well). And ten years ago I was so honored to know that he was in talks to adapt Romanzo Criminale (a tv series I’ve co-written) for Starz. It never happened, but boy the only idea still thrills me. Looking forward to read his graphic novel!
No, not to my knowledge. I don't even know if they just dropped the project immediately after or kept trying. I was not involved in the remake at any stage.

Ah, I'm sorry about that near miss with ROMANZO CRIMINALE. Did the adaptation ever find a writer in the States?

Loved this interview. That last quote is now on my wall.
I saw that when I woke up this morning. It's do damn good!
