15 Iconic '90s Pilot Scripts to Download and Study
The last truly great decade for network television collides with 'prestige TV'
I’ve been spending a lot of time in the Nineties over the past six months as I prepare to start work on a new project set in the early half of the decade. Part of that process has been revisiting old television series. That’s how I ended up here, sharing 15 iconic U.S. TV pilot scripts from the Nineties with 5AM StoryTalk’s paid subscribers as a bonus feature this week.
You’ll find everything from “Friends” and “ER” to “Twin Peaks” and “The X-Files” to “The Sopranos” and “The West Wing” here. A lot of titles I wanted to include just aren’t available in free-to-download PDF form, such as “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”, “Living Single”, and “Will & Grace”, but I think there’s a lot to study and learn from here all the same.
All of these scripts tend to vanish, as all things do on the Internet. Download ASAP for your personal educational purposes. And if you want more resources like this one, be sure to check out my articles:
